Airline routs Westlake

The Airline Vikings routed Westlake 13-0 in a non-district game Monday at Airline.

Will Tynes went 3-for-3 with four RBI in the five-inning game. Bryson Connell went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI.

Hayden Travinski and Cole Broadway had two hits each. Hayden Lope had two RBI.

John Michael McLain went pitched four innings of no-hit ball for the win. He didn’t walk a batter. Seth Gander didn’t allow a hit or walk in one inning of relief.

Airline (10-11) visits Pineville (7-15) in another non-district game Tuesday.
